Let me start by saying that there’s nothing wrong with doilies. Every woman over 150 years old should have at least one. But what kind of messed up Chinese-to-English dictionary spits out “Lace placemat Fruit” when you type in “doily”?

Maybe that means the lace placemat woven in a fruit pattern or motif and they are just missing the hyphen between placemat and fruit?
Comment by Darryl May 6, 2009 @ 3:20 pmI thought the same thing, but for the life of me, I can’t find any fruit in that pattern! I should’ve snapped a better picture, but I didn’t want to take it out of its original packaging. For the value as a collectible, you understand.
Comment by EmDub May 6, 2009 @ 11:58 pmMaybe they are place mats specifically for fruity individuals like yourself?
