Flickr/Teafor2 - Gawd, I love socks!
I spend a lot of time here bashing the dollar store and the weird-ass items you can find there. Every once in a while, they give shelf space to something that’s actually useful and worth more than a dollar (gasp!).
Since I can’t be bothered with anything that’s not obscene, racist, useless, ridiculous or obscene (“You said obscene twice!” “I know; I like obscene.”), I leave finding the good stuff to the pros. Marlene Alexander, a confessed dollar store diva, finds that socks are a good deal a the dollar store. The last time I questioned a diva, he hit me with his high-heeled shoe and slapped me with his purse, so I’ll take Ms. Alexander’s word that socks are a good deal at the dollar store.

Those are really cool socks!! Socks happen to be a weakness of mine, and dollar stores too. When they happen to be in the same sentence, life is good.
